All the Available Haneda Airport Parking Options
Tokyo International Airport features several parking facilities. Thus, five multi-level car parks serve the parking needs of HND passengers. The four of them lie between the two domestic terminals, while the fifth car park is located close to Haneda international terminal (terminal 3). Please note that the five parking lots serve both short-term and long-stay parking. Thus, there aren’t designated car parks for long stays. In any case, you can travel between car parks using the free airport shuttles connecting the three terminal buildings.
Although Haneda parking facilities are adequate, they often can’t meet the passengers’ needs, especially on weekends. Therefore, using the efficient Tokyo public transit system is recommended if traveling to Tokyo Airport on a Saturday or Sunday.
Numerous car parks are also to be found near Tokyo International Airport, although not within the HND complex. They typically offer free shuttle services from and to the terminals. Hence, if the Haneda airport parking lots are full, you can explore other options.
Our Tip: Tokyo International Airport’s website informs passengers about Haneda parking lots’ availability. Verily, the airport offers information on the current car parks’ status, with updates every 3 minutes.
Haneda Parking Lots Close to Terminal 1
Although four parking lots are to be found right between the two domestic terminals, two of them lie close to Haneda terminal 1. Thus, Car Parks P1 and P2 are located within close distance from terminal 1, connected via covered walkways to the third floor of the terminal building.
P1 offers a total of 2351 parking spaces and can accommodate (besides ordinary cars) motorcycles but not large vehicles. It is equipped with EV charging stations and has designated areas for travelers with disabilities.
On the other hand, P2 features 2315 parking spaces. Accessible parking spots and zones for motorcycles are also available, along with charging stations for electric vehicles. However, the car park isn’t designed for large vehicle parking.
Haneda Parking Lots Close to Terminal 2
The domestic HND airport terminal 2 (which also handles some ANA international flights) lies adjacent to Car Parks P3 and P4. Thus, the two Haneda Airport parking lots (P3 and P4), connected to the terminal building via covered passageways linked to terminal 2’s third level, handle both long-term and short-term parking for T2 passengers.
P3 offers 2449 parking spots. EV charging points are also available, while disabled passengers can make use of the car park’s accessible zones. P3 can accommodate motorcycles but not large vehicles.
P4 is the second Haneda parking lot close to terminal 2. It has a capacity of 3087 parking spots and features spaces for motorcycles and accessible vehicles. Moreover, it is equipped with EV charging facilities. Large vehicles can also park at HND Parking Lot P4 (outside), while a private garage area is also to be found within its premises. Car washing and polishing services are provided to P4 drivers.
The Haneda Parking Lot Close to Terminal 3
HND Parking Lot P5 is dedicated to the parking needs of Tokyo airport’s international passengers. It is situated close to the international terminal (T3), interconnected to the terminal building. Indeed, a roofed walkway links Car Park P5 to T3’s fifth floor. P5 has a total of 2910 parking spaces, including accessible parking spots and motorcycle parking. Charging stations for electric vehicles are also available. The car park can accommodate large vehicles (you’ll find only uncovered parking spots available) and features a private garage as well. In addition to parking amenities, passengers parking their cars at P5 can use the provided car washing and polishing services.
Our Tip: A bicycle parking area is also located close to terminal 3.
No matter the chosen Haneda airport parking facility, you should keep in mind that motorists aren’t allowed to use car parks to take photos or enjoy views.
Haneda Airport Parking Fees
Parking fares for Haneda parking lots vary, depending on the chosen facility. Payments can be made at the exits or the ticket machines located inside the car parks. Thus, if you don’t want to pay at the exit of your car park, you can use a Prior Ticket Adjustment Machine and pay your parking fares right before picking up the car. It’s important to keep in mind that you have a 15-20-minute free-of-charge period from the moment you pay the fare until you exit the parking lot. Moreover, the parking ticket received upon entering the car park serves as a receipt.

Pre-Booking your Haneda Airport Parking Spot
Except for Car Park P1, reservations can be made for all other Haneda parking lots (P2, P3, P4, and P5). Thus, you can pre-book your parking spot to ensure availability. Pre-booking is strongly recommended if you arrive at the airport on weekends or during busy periods of the year (late July to early August, during Golden Week, or the days before and after the New Year). In any case, in-advance reservations bring an extra reservation fee. Therefore, if you book a parking spot at Haneda airport parking lots P2, P3, or P4, you’ll pay an additional fee of ¥1000 ($6,64/€6,28), while if you reserve a parking space at P5, your parking fares will be ¥1400 ($9,30/€8,80) higher.
Our Tip: Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance of your arrival.
Pick-ups and Drop-offs at Tokyo Airport
You won’t find cell parking lots at Tokyo International Airport. Although there are some designated lanes for quick drop-offs and pick-ups, parking outside the terminals is generally strongly prohibited. Therefore, drivers wishing to pick up or drop off passengers at HND Airport can use the Haneda parking facilities, which are free for the first 30 minutes.
